Mosquito Coil Holders

Made to fit any brand mosquito repellent coils, found in most grocery stores, hardware stores, 

or online. You light the coil, blow out flame, 

and set it near you (it's pretty enough to leave 

out in the open) and the smoke drifts out 

from the holes and keeps the pests away! 

The larger holes are perfect for resting 

your thumb as you carry it around.

 Gold luster is real gold dissolved in an oil. 

After a piece is glazed and fired as usual, 

the gold luster is applied and the piece is fired briefly again. When the oil burns off in the kiln, 

a deposit of pure gold is left behind! The finish 

of the gold (matte or shiny) is dependent 

upon the finish of the glaze underneath.

Getting the clay to make noise is honestly as satisfying as having it look pretty. The  smaller 

the belly of these hand-carved whistles, the 

higher the pitch of the whistle. The hole underneath is cut at a sharp angle, so the air is split, half going into the belly, and the other half coming out, making the whistle sound.
